Fatemah Aljaradi
2026 MPH CRSSLA Role: Research and Data Specialist
Fatemah Aljaradi is a Master of Public Health graduate from the University of Southern California with a concentration in Health Services and Policy. Her professional background includes healthcare operations and outpatient case management support, with experience supporting care access, post-discharge follow-up, and efforts to reduce barriers that may affect patient outcomes. Her interests include health equity, public health data, quality improvement, health policy, and addressing social determinants of health to improve access and outcomes for underserved populations.
ROLE at CRSSLA:
As a Research and Data Specialist at CRSSLA, Fatemah supports the review and organization of communications-related data and engagement metrics. Through this internship, she is gaining experience in using data to better understand communication reach, audience engagement, and how public health organizations can improve outreach efforts for the populations they serve.
1. What have you learned/gained from being an intern at CRSSLA?
During my internship with CRSSLA, I gained hands-on experience reviewing and organizing newsletter and social media performance data from multiple years. I learned how to identify engagement trends, compare results over time, and present findings that could support future communication and outreach efforts.
2. How has this internship changed the way you think about your work or yourself?
This internship strengthened my confidence in working independently, managing detailed projects, and turning a large amount of information into clear and useful findings. It also helped me understand how communications and data can work together to improve the way public health organizations connect with the communities they serve.
