CRSSLA Monthly Education Committee Meeting
A collaborative meeting held on Zoom on the first Monday, 2-3:30pm, with agencies working together to improve educational outcomes for students in the South LA area, particularly on issues related to the pandemic. Meetings through May 2022 will include our peer group for high dosage tutoring.

About the Event
Representatives from Innovate Public Schools will be with us on Mon, Nov 7, 2pm, at our monthly CRSSLA education committee meeting. Come hear more details and provide input on their upcoming parent meeting with LAUSD Superintendent Alberto Carvalho. The representatives will be Cedric Nelms, Carlos Rodriguez, and Jennifer Perla.
About the Meeting
The superintendent's meeting will be held on Mon, Nov 14, 6-7:30pm, to talk about how parents and other community members can support LAUSD's plan to accelerate learning and make sure funds are used for programs and services that will reach our kids this school year.
The meeting will be held at Faith & Hope Community Church, 344 W. Florence Ave., Los Angeles. All parents are invited to join the meeting as they advocate for funds to be spent on high-impact tutoring and Black student achievement. The meeting is sponsored by Innovate Public Schools.
