About the Event
It's been a year since we started our initiative to build the capacity of agencies and schools to improve in the areas of youth and family engagement. Thank you to Dr. Angela Parker from Jenesse Center for facilitating our trainings and providing resources to implement (see www.crssla.org/education).
At our Nov meeting, we confirmed our next initiatives in the areas of education policy and academic enrichment. Join us in developing a policy statement on black student achievement in LA County, and a high impact tutoring model with college readiness and capacity building.
At our Dec meeting, we will review research and other materials to help inform our work.
